Terms of Service
Effective May 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026
Welcome to Cookie. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Landian, Inc., a Wyoming corporation operating from 525 Randall Ave, Ste 302, Cheyenne, WY 82001 ("we," "us," or "Cookie"). They govern your use of the Cookie iOS app, the website at bakecookie.com, and any related services (together, the "Service"). If you don't agree to these Terms, don't use the Service.
The short version. Be respectful. Don't post anything that harasses, threatens, sexualizes minors, or breaks the law. We respond to reports within 24 hours and we'll remove content and suspend accounts when we have to. You can block any user from the app, delete your own cookies at any time, and delete your account in Settings. Your camera roll stays yours — see the Privacy Policy for the details.
1. Who can use Cookie
You must be at least 13 years old to use Cookie. If you're between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction (usually 18), you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms and agrees to them on your behalf. Cookie is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe we have, email hello@bakecookie.com and we will delete it.
You may use Cookie anywhere the App Store distributes it, except in jurisdictions where doing so would violate local law or U.S. export controls.
2. Your account
You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Choose a strong password if you use email sign-in, don't share your sign-in credentials, and tell us at hello@bakecookie.com if you think someone else is using your account.
Some Cookie features require a username (a "@handle"). Handles are first-come, first-served and we can reclaim, rename, or reassign them to resolve impersonation, trademark, or trust-and-safety issues.
3. What you can post
Cookie is a social app. You can post short videos ("cookies") baked from photos and videos in your camera roll, share them with friends, message other users, and react to cookies that other people post. You keep ownership of the original photos and videos you bring to Cookie. By posting content to Cookie or sending it through our Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to run the Service (rendering the video, delivering it to your followers, showing previews on the share page, etc.). The license ends when you delete the content — except for backups that age out on the schedule described in the Privacy Policy.
4. What you can't post
The following content is prohibited on Cookie. Posting it is grounds for content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination at our sole discretion:
- Harassment, bullying, or threats directed at any individual or group.
- Hate speech — content that attacks people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity.
- Sexual content — including nudity, sexual solicitation, and any sexualized depiction of minors. Sexual content involving minors will be reported to NCMEC and law enforcement.
- Violence and gore — including content that glorifies violence, depicts real-world harm, or threatens specific people.
- Illegal activity — including content that promotes the sale of regulated goods (weapons, drugs, prescription medication), human trafficking, or the violation of any applicable law.
- Self-harm and suicide content — including encouragement, instructions, or glorification of self-injury, eating disorders, or suicide.
- Impersonation — pretending to be another person, business, or organization in a way that could mislead other users.
- Spam, scams, or deceptive practices — including coordinated inauthentic behavior, phishing, fake giveaways, and multi-level marketing pitches.
- Intellectual property infringement — content you don't own or don't have the right to share. See section 8 for our DMCA process.
- Private information about other people — including doxxing, leaked credentials, and non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Malware, exploits, or attempts to circumvent our security — including reverse-engineering the Service, scraping at scale, or interfering with rate limits, the App Check attestation, or anti-abuse systems.
- Automated abuse — using bots, scrapers, or third-party clients to interact with the Service without our written permission.
5. How we respond to reports
Every Cookie user can report any cookie or any user from inside the app: tap the ⋯ menu on a cookie or visit a user's profile and choose Report. Pick a category (spam, harassment, nudity, violence, hate, other) and add a note if it helps explain the issue.
We commit to triaging every report within 24 hours of receipt. Triage means a human on the Cookie team reviews the report, decides whether the reported content or behavior violates these Terms, and takes one of three actions: dismiss (no violation), remove (the cookie is taken down from the public feed, share page, and any visible surface), or suspend (the offending account is disabled and all of its public cookies are taken down). Severe cases — including credible threats of violence, suspected child sexual abuse material, or active impersonation — are escalated immediately and may be reported to law enforcement.
If you reported a piece of content or a user, you'll see a confirmation in the app at submission time. We don't share the outcome of every report with the reporter, but if your account is on the receiving end of an action you'll get an in-app notice and an email to the address on file.
If you believe a removal or suspension was a mistake, email hello@bakecookie.com within 30 days. We'll re-review.
6. Blocking other users
Every Cookie user can block another user from the Cookie profile screen. Once you block someone:
- Their cookies stop appearing in your feed.
- Their profile no longer shows up to you.
- Neither of you can send the other a direct message.
- Existing direct-message threads disappear from your inbox.
Blocks are bilateral: the block applies even to messages sent by you, so you can't accidentally re-engage with someone you blocked. You can unblock anyone you've blocked from Settings → Blocked accounts.
7. Your right to delete content and your account
- Delete a single cookie by long-pressing it in your Library and tapping Delete. The video and its underlying record are removed from Cookie's servers.
- Delete your account in Cookie → Me → Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your profile, cookies, comments, likes, tags, contacts, notification settings, and Firebase Auth account from Cookie's active systems. Some backups age out on the schedule described in the Privacy Policy.
- You can also email hello@bakecookie.com for a manually-processed deletion or to request a copy of your data. We respond within 30 days.
8. Copyright (DMCA) takedowns
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on Cookie without your permission, send a DMCA notice to our designated agent:
- Email: dmca@bakecookie.com
- Postal: DMCA Agent, Landian, Inc., 525 Randall Ave, Ste 302, Cheyenne, WY 82001
Your notice must include the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3): a physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the allegedly infringing material with enough detail for us to locate it; your contact information; a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you're authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner. We will respond to valid notices and remove the offending content; we may also terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you can submit a counter-notification to the same address.
9. Subscriptions and refunds
Cookie Pro is sold as a recurring auto-renewing subscription through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage your subscription, see your renewal date, or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Cookie.
Refund requests for App Store subscriptions are handled by Apple. We don't process refunds directly. If you have a billing dispute, contact Apple Support; if it's about something we did, also email hello@bakecookie.com so we can investigate on our side.
If we change the price of a subscription, we'll tell you in-app and by email before the change takes effect. You can cancel before the new price applies.
10. Service changes and availability
Cookie is a young product and we're constantly improving it. We may add, remove, or change features at any time. We may also need to take the Service offline for maintenance or to fix bugs. We try to give notice when changes will materially affect how you use Cookie, but we can't always.
11. Our intellectual property
The Cookie name, logo, app, server-side code, design, baking pipeline, and supporting infrastructure are owned by Landian, Inc. and protected by U.S. and international IP laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms. You may post your finished cookies anywhere you like — they're yours.
12. Disclaimers and limits on liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Cookie does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Landian, Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Cookie in the twelve months preceding the claim and (b) USD $100.
Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability — these limitations apply to the extent permitted by law.
13. Termination
You can stop using Cookie at any time by deleting your account. We can suspend or terminate your access to Cookie immediately, with or without notice, if we have reason to believe you violated these Terms — including the prohibited-content rules in section 4 — or if continuing to provide you with the Service would expose Cookie or other users to harm or legal risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) survive.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here with an updated "Last updated" date. If the change is material, we'll also notify you in-app or by email before it takes effect. Your continued use of Cookie after the new Terms take effect means you accept them.
16. Contact us
Questions, feedback, reports we missed, or anything else: hello@bakecookie.com. For DMCA, use the address in section 8. For trust-and-safety escalations, the fastest path is to report from inside the app — those land in the moderation queue with the 24-hour SLA.
